Who is allowed to become a certified W-APT or ACCESS for ELLs test administrator in NH?

  • Certified ESOL teachers
  • Certified teachers of other subjects
  • Other certified staff (guidance counselors, speech/language pathologists, etc.) and those who work in a school district who are in the process of pursuing ESOL certification
  • Teachers in all above categories must work with ELLs on a regular basis.

How do I gain access to view and/or download W-APT screener materials?

Do I need to retake the training quizzes if I passed them last year?

You must take the quizzes once every three years, and the speaking section should be reviewed annually.
